So minus the asshole busting one of my windows (which I didn't even see until today), the weekend was pretty good! Friday night, Josh came over and we hit Trader Joe's and Safeway. He made cheesecake while I played World of Warcraft. After playing Ratslinger off an on all weekend, I'm up to lvl 17! Saturday, we slept in until around 11am. Josh got up and made coffee and we had sausages and hashbrowns for breakfast. After that, he made all the wiring behind my desk all pretty, and then set up the machine and monitor that he had brought. We spent various parts of the day playing w0w. We also got to go see his neice, Anya. She's so cute!
Yesterday, we woke up around 10am, and had chocolate croissants and coffee. Then Josh packed up his stuff and went home. I spent most of the day playing w0w, and I watched 'Serpico'. I was going to watch 'Pay It Forward', but Netflix keeps sending me cracked movies, and this one was cracked as well. I sent them a letter which I never expect to hear back, but at least they know now that I'm not a happy camper about it.
In interesting news...last week, I put Squeeek on senior food. I mixed it in half and half with his regular food and instead of making him eat out of the communal feeder, gave him his own bowl on his fridge. I think it's started to kick in! Saturday, Squeeek stood by the door with the "I wanna go roam" look on his face. It's more productive than him trashing my house because he's bored, so I let him out. He spent most of the rest of the weekend out in the halls roaming. Of course, he's a pussy, so when anyone walked down the hall, he'd sprint back indoors. But I think that food gave him the *oomph* he needed. He still takes naps and all, but he doesn't sleep almost the entire day like he used to. Guess I should have put him on senior food a long time ago! And this morning, 7:30am hit and he stood next to my bed and yelped until I got up. This is a change because usually, he won't get up in the mornings. Actually, it was more like, "Goddammit Squeeek, I'm sleeping! WTF do you want?!?" :P So later I told him, "I'm really glad you got your second wind there Squeeek, but don't go waking me up before my alarm goes off!"
So that's what's going on around here. The glass guy is fixing my window atm. I had a conversation with my landlady, and we're gonna put together a checklist of things to keep out of site/take out of your car when you go home for the evening. Common sense stuff, but I know I sure don't think about things like leaving change in the car. *shrug* But I believe that's what the guy wanted....a fucking bag of pennies that were sitting between the 2 seats. *rolls eyes*. It was the only thing in the car that was sitting out besides my sunglasses. Anyway, now I know better. Still not happy about it tho
